Lake Metigoshe - Sunday, April 25, 2010

Report Details
Plenty of Pike yesterday, water temps to 58 at night, some short green weeds.  No panfish in shallows, couldnt find walleyes near any gravel.  Any ideas where the walleyes might be?  I checked by the narrows and numerous shoreline rubble without finding anything.

Good to see someone else is fishing the Dead Sea!!  I've been out a couple times trying the sand shallows and along the weed edges and even the rocks but not having much luck with the wally-gators.  I do have to admit the first night we went out two days after ice-out we did get surprised by two walleyes that hit our jigs in 11 FOW and lost both at the boat.  Need to get our summer hookset instincts back.  Keep your line tight!!
