very tough to get around on lake even with 4 x 4 vehicle. snowmobile is best option. We couldn't get on north lake and very limited mobility on south lake. fished east side of makay island and caught some nice pike and were able to get some gills. Have to drill a bunch of holes and move around but it seem when you find the right hole you can limit out fast. alot of small perch s hae alot of wax worms. good luck to all but bring a shovel you just might need it.
