Just wanted to let everybody know that the ice on Metigoshe is 10" solid and the northerns are biting real good, had 2 pigs brought in 44" and 42" 25 and 23 lbs caught on tip-ups with smelt. they are also doing well on walleye's using live minnows and the blue gills are starting to bite too near bear island, also heard the perch were biting good on Long lake too, nice 10 -12" perch.
