went out sunday night tried some bobber fish for blue gill caught around 25 to 30 small ones water level pretty high not sure if spond yet didnt keep any to clean

I was up until tuesday of this week and there was ice as far as I could see except for a few spots. Hopefully it won't be as bad as last year. Anyone have an idea of how think it is yet?

we saw a tiger muskie at lake metigoshe did not bite on anything its was about 10inches long

heading to Metigoshe Friday for 4 days, how has the fishing been?

Fished all over in bays with grren weeds.. Best bait was thunderstick junior in red chrome. We probably caught aroudn 30 fish, 12 or so walleye up to 19" and the rest pike up to 34". Good Luck to all this weekend, if the sun pokes out the bluegills should turn on!!

Worked hard to find fish but oh did they come. Found big bluegills up to 10" in short weeds. Caught about 50 of them, kept 8, then found a bunch of walleyee in fresh elodea, short green weeds, caught over 50 of them up to 16" on leeches, jigs and bobbers. Also caught some pike up to 28" while fishing for others, water temps coming along. Good Luck! |
