Lake Laretta - Sunday, July 4, 2010

First time to try this lake while up in Langdon for weekend.  Daughter's boyfriend gave us some tips to start with so fished edge of cattails on southeast shore.  15 mph wind from west put that idea to the test so headed across to west side and trolled north.  Hooked into eight or nine but only boated three.  Two small ones that went back and one 3 pounder that we did take home.  Was fairly happy with the day considering we had never tried it before.  Will go back on a little calmer day to give it another shot.  Tricky getting on the lake but enjoyable day of fishing.
