anyone catching any walleyes? went out about 2 weeks ago and had one bite... fished for about 4 hours in the morning

Went out to Josephine on 7-1 and 7-4 and caught countless small eyes and some medium sized northern. Mainly fished the north side of the lake along the shore in 9-13FOW with bottom bouncers and spinners with minnows and crawlers. Fished about 4 hours each day and only picked up one walleye about 18 inches with the rest being 14 and smaller mostly 10-11.

Last I heard people were getting on the lake from Hwy 3. There was a decent trail where people were getting onto the ice. Not sure what it is like now since it has warmed up though.

My daughter and I got on the water around ten on saturday morning and had our limit by 1:30. Caught five on spinners/bouncers and the five on cranks. chartreuse spinners with leeches worked best. Any bright colored #5 rapala was also hot. Fish weren't anything huge (17") the biggest but a good time none the less.
