Two of us went out to our ice house at 2:30 pm left the ice at 7:30pm landed 5 pike and 3 walleye

Fished this lake on the 31st of August. Hoping to get a limit of bluegill out of here but got skunked pretty hard. Put the boat in at the landing immediately marked fish. Tried worms and minnows no good. Moved out into main lake more and tried lindy rigs for walleye no luck. Marked tons of fish. Didnt get one bite. Anyone know what the fish may have been that I was marking???? Carp maybe??? Anyone have any luck on this lake?
