went up to grano bridge this afternoon. fished from about 6:00 to 9:00 and had a couple bites, but didn't catch anything. The guy next to us had caught a small pike but that was it. better luck next time....I hope.

Went to Grano last week, had a few bites, lost some lures, but we caught 2 pike one about 3 pounds, the other about 8 pounds. Going back up there today at 3:00. Good luck to those who plan on fishing.

Went out fishing from the landing 3 dock on tuesday and my buddy had 1 bite and I got skunked, we went out in the boat saturday and had no bites. Seen a few fish but no takers.

Went fishing tonight four couple hours, ended up with one nice eye and one northern. pretty slow

went fishing two days ago and we caught 5 notrtherns around 4 lbs each and 1 walleye 5lbs lost three others about the same weight at the shore. was pitching a jig and bouncing really slow. agin slow being the key. only one noerthern was caught off of smelt bite didn't start until about 7:00 pm or so. good luck and by the way jig was 1/8 ounce in chartruese with a minnow.

I hit lake darling today for 45 min and caught 2 small northerns. I fished by the dam. they hit my rapala xrap in the deeper water. Like the post underneath slow was the key. They hit my lure when it was paused. I keeped her paused for 4 seconds. nothing on my rattle traps. I guess theres always spoons but i like somthing with a little rattle to it. With the cold front I expected they wanted it slow.

Was up in boat yesterday on the lower end. Caught 3 small pike workin a jig slow. I think I'm a little early but it is sure nice fishin out there before the weeds take over. Might try up around grano end of the week.

Anyone get a boat out on Darling yet, or has it been more or less written off by boaters? The upcoming tournament should be interesting this year. I'm more than a little worried about the lake weeding over tho. Wish something could be done. Early boaters, let us know how it is.

A couple of us fished the west side of the dam. We had a few bites and landed a couple. We used smelt. I'd say we were there for about an hour.

Been catching a lot of northerns at green and grano, 2-5 lbs. 2, 36 inchers. Guy fishing across from us landed an 8 lb eye.

Fished the Grano boat ramp on 3/12 in the afternoon. Ice was still 14" althought the top is starting to get soft. There's open water at the mouth to the lake and there's a lot of open water north and south of the bridge. Fished tipups with minnows and smelt and also jigged. No bites all afternoon.
