Anybody been to green crossing? If so hows the ice there and the bite.

Fished in about 8 - 14 FOW about 200 yards from the spillway boat ramp. Caught about 6 northerns that were all good size, and released. Took a buddy out that ended up losing my pole because he wasnt paying attention. Im pretty sure it was a pike on the dead stick. All fish were caught on minnows, using spoons on the jig sticks. It was my first time out on darling this year, and I have saturday was a great day to fish.

Fished at the fishng oulet right below dock from 7am until 330pm. Bit for northerns were great all morning, slowed down in afternoon. Caught a total of 13 northern ranging from 24-30 inches, kept 5. Ice is anywhere from 5-8.5 inches thick in that area. Everyone around us was catching or spearing them like crazy. Didn't catch or see any walleye. Was a fun, perfect day for fishing weather and ice wise. Only thing wrong is that couldn't land any walleye, next time maybe!

crfisherman and I went out East of the Grano bridge (south side) and fished in roughly 11 fow. Used pimples, jigs, chubby darters and plain hooks with fatheads, and minnow heads. Did'nt mark a ton of fish but the ones we did mark usally took the bait. Bite did not pick up until dusk, caught several small eyes (no keepers) one 11 inch Perch and 4 gators in the 3-6lb range. We also lost two other pike in the 8-10lb range. No a great day but better than holding down the couch. Good luck FBO'ers!

Went to Darling. On the way there we seen some houses out on the river side. We went down there to check it out. The ice was 6" I was not getting on there so we fished east of the Spillway ramp. We fished 16tf to 22ft caught one slim ball and he went back into the water. Saw fish on the Vexilar but they were not interest in coming home with us.

Tried a few places around the permenants at Grano and caught a Northern, i only marked a couple fish on the vex.

Once again tried the Landing 3 area in 15ft of water skunked again. Lots of ice houses and portables out didnt look like much catching was going on. Also moved over by the dam where I have had sucess earlier this year in 14ft of water no luck there either. About to give up on this lake for the rest of the winter.

Fished depths 5ft to 12ft along landing 3 moved a few different times too. No luck what so ever, nothing marked on the vexilar either. This lake is not producing like it did the past 2 years. Anyone got any tips?

Fished off the spillway boat ramp this morning. There is12+ inches of clear ice. Caught 1 northern, 1 walleye and a bunch of little perch that all went back down the hole.

had some good luck se side of landing 3. 8'-15' of wter action all day. plenty of 10"+ perch caught until the pike swam in. had 4 pike on the camera many times and they would not leave. kept a couple 15"+
walleye. action all day and it was fun. get out there!!! IDK |

Game warden is quated as saying there are 8 open water spots between landing 3 and Grano crossing. driving on the lake is not recommended. some of the open water spots go all the way across the lake.
