We fished Grano Saturday, 6 Mar 10, very slow, six of us on the ice and only got 10 little perch. we just walked out but there were still people driving out. Getting sloppy out there though. Ice is still good.
Fished by the farm on the south end Sunday. lots of water on the ice and really sloppy out there. I was fishing too shallow and only got two small walleyes and two small perch. I was hoping the bigger walleyes would come in when it got dark. Water is running out of the dam so the ice around the bridges, Grano, Green and tracks and around the dam will be going fast, a lot of water is running thru. A friend said they put the front end of thier truck thru the first layer of ice. Seems there is a gap from smow melt and refreeze. |

wanting to now how it is out there i would like to take a friend up there that has not been out in about 3 years are people still driving on it an how thick is the snow its melting i would like to go a few more times.

a friend an i went out on friday we only got 6 perch but we had fun a we also had a some hit an miss the bobber would go down an by the time we got the pool in our hands th bobber was coming back upanwe were north of landing #3 an have good luckwith the family.

Went Saturday and Sunday, Feb 20 & 21. Road to Landing 3 is good, plowed. Driving around on the lake is hard, lots of snow to get stuck in. Went across to the east side Sunday then walked to the farm, got lots of little perch and only one keeper, 11". They were checking for fish at landing 3 when I came off. I had heard they were thinking of taking the buoys off the lake for summer fishing so I asked them about that, they said it will NOT happen this year but MAYBE next year.

Went out off of landing three with my two kids today , started fishing about 9:30 and caught fish as soon as we got set up . Caught over 70 fish took home 40 over nine inches ,and were done fishing about 1:45 . however gitting around is getting harder with every snow. 4x4 and a shovel good idea.

Went out to Darling today. Caught about 30 perch, all good eaters. DNR was doing a check, about 30 of them. So watch your limits and drinking while out there! |

Hello I herd from a buddy that Locals were catching huge perch. I would like to get the directions to the a decent spot from someone. I would like to catch a couple 14 to 16 inch perch to mount.

Been fishing Darling for a couple weeks. Lots of small perch. My rule is to not keep anything under 9 inches. Caught one over nine inches two weeks ago. Lots of action just small fish. I hope everyone throws all those perch under 9 back cause if we do, the fishing is gonna be fantastic next year if we let em get a bit bigger. Darling needs to shed the "Dead Sea" label. Fillets on those small fish are too small. Throw em back jack! Stizo :)

Was out today in front of landing three on the edge of the houses and caught many small perch and one very small eye. Caught most of them on a macho mino from northland and a fatboy. Lots of guys hedding north and only a few guys on the east side.
