Was out at grano on the north side of the bridge and did very well 4 days in a row with walleye and perch. That was last week from Monday to Thursday. I heard a rumor that I had slowed down now and it's hard to find fish. Has anyone been up there. Or on darling?

Not a report but I am wondering how the ice and the road getting to landing 3 are holding up? Can I get a car  out to the landing or is there to much mud? Any info would be great.

Ice report: Shorelines are starting to turn brown with a lot of slush in locations. The ice is very easy to cut, even though you still essentially need an extension. This means it's starting to honeycomb within, do not drive on. Most people are just walking on, one person had the balls to drive on. Really stop driving on with the nonexistent shoreline and soft ice.

Grano fishing: When you get through the ice, the water is chocolate milk. I dropped a camera down and under the milk is clear water. There is also some current now by the bridge that's subtle but will increase. I found fish by fishing it like a river, find the current breaks. Off of the main funnel under the bridge you will find areas with no current, where fish sit.

If you find walleye, they slam anything. Perch need coaxing unless you're on top of a school, the competition feeding means you can't keep a rod in the hole. If you don't see fish right away, pound bottom with a spoon tipped with bait for a solid 10 seconds and you'll have fish on screen hopefully. Waxies worked fine since scheels in minot doesn't have minnows. Fish were found in 9-15 feet of water under the ice around the channel, keep drilling until you find them, they're there.

Tight lines and be safe on late ice. Better to walk and get some cardio than drive and not come home.

Not a report but just wondering how are the perch biting up at Grano and the rest of the lake?

perch bite all day and walleye bite from 4 till about 5:30. Dead sticks with plain hook or tear drop works good as well as chubby darters and other small jiging rigs for perch and walleye. Good luck

Finally got out in our popup and fished along the channel edge between 13-16 FOW about 2-3 miles north of Landing 3.  Lot of anglers were out.  Slow but and steady perch and a baby walleye.  Marked some fish with the Vex but were not actively interested.  Fished with minnows on small jigs on bobber floats & without.

Nearly 18 inches of ice with little drifting of snow making it drivable pretty much everywhere. Fish were very negative and slow after the storm on 12/24 with only fish being one perch on a live minnow deadsticked. Fish are being marked but this front must have shut them down hard.

Absolute ton of houses by Grano and south, hopefully the bite picks up after the weather settles down a bit. Minnows outfishing just minnow heads based on fish shooting down after touching the head on a small swedish pimple. Darters also a no go but puppet minnows keep them interested but not commiting on them
