The crankbait bite is good, we done our best with Salmo Hornets in the #4's and #5's. Holographic Hot Perch and the Black and Gold was the hot patterns in the Salmo Hornets. Trolling 2.5 to 3 MPR. Depths ranging from 8' to 12' near the channel. Largest SM Bass hit on top of the shallow lip off the sharp breaks into the old river channel.Very nice SM Bass on the cranks, up to 19", lots of bass. Walleye was slower but I suspect it should pick up again soon.
