And on top of all of that we have been catching limits of walleyes just about every time we go out.

Odd that there isn't a two person limit in the pictures you posted.

Do you catch the smallies in open water too? And if you do where do you go to catch them?

This kid is not lying!!! I went fishing with him for the first time and I landed a 42" pike. The next weekend I caught a 29" walleye. And on top of all of that we have been catching limits of walleyes just about every time we go out. I promise you this kid ain't lying to all of you guys.

Kinda weird a guy posts about killing walleye all year, and then immediately starts talking about state record class crappie he has been catching if it's true, good for you HudsonG. The crossing is almost my second home and I fish buhla way too much, but the BS flag is definitely at full staff on this one......

I don't think he is feeding a guy full of BS. I have seen a lot of 15''ers come out the last couple years and I know there are bigger in there. Its only going to get better on ASH for crappies. Check out the stocking report. To back the kid up I am a regular at the crossing and have heard scott talk about the crappie killers. HAHA.

If scotts the short haired one with the moustache that's the guy. Catching bullheads and white bass right now. Crappies should be going in the morning. Check out my facebook for  pics if you want.

I guess I will have to ask scott at the crossing about the "crappie killers".

RIGGGGHHTTTT........  So lets see some pics on a ruler and a scale of those crappies. I have seen some 12-14" but there is far better lakes to catch lots more crappies than ash. Perch bite was slow all year some fish some days nothing impressive.

We've been catching damn near state record crappies the last 2 years. Baitshop knows me and my buddy as the crappie killers. Seems like theres not so many anymore though. Catch very few under 10"

If you can find a good spot you can catch fish. Just takes patience. We'll see how this weekend treats us

As of lately I doubt it. The walleye bite has been very slow. I will agree with the smallies. They have been nuts all year. And some big ones to boot. The perch bite has been fair at times with most being in that 7-9" range. The crappies are there and have seen them bite well at times. In the next couple years ash should have a nice year class of crappies coming out.
