It’s three big days of summer fun March 12-14 during the KX Sports Show at the North Dakota State Fair Center in Minot, ND. Over 100 exhibitors from all over the United States and Canada will converge in Minot to show and sell their products and services. You’ll find RV’s, Boats, Motorcycles, ATV’s, Spas, Fishing and Hunting Supplies, Home and Garden Products, Vacation Resorts, Hunting and Fishing Outfitters, as well as Financial Institutions to help you with your purchases.
If you want to sharpen your hunting and fishing skills, or just stay informed on the latest techniques, there are plenty of free seminars to attend. This year’s featured fishing speaker is Tommy Skarlis. Skarlis won the most prestigious title in walleye fishing–the FLW Walleye Tour Championship. All totaled, Skarlis has qualified for 27 straight national championships and is one of the hottest tourney sticks in the history of walleye fishing. Seminars begin Saturday and run through Sunday.
The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a Off-Highway Vehicle Safety Certification Course on Sunday from 12-4pm sponsored by Pure Honda. This Certification Course is for Kids 12 to 16 years of age, who do not have a drivers license. The course is open to kids and adults and the certification test for kids if they choose to take it, is just $20.
The KX Sports Show also has plenty of fun things for the kids. There is a 25ft Rock Climbing Wall, Bullzilla Bull Ride, Bounce-n-Slide, Wax Hand Molds and a Fishing Simulator.
The 2010 KX Sports Show takes place Friday through Sunday March 12-14. Friday- 12-8pm, Saturday- 10am-7pm and Sunday- 11am-5pm. Admission is $3.00 for Adults, $1.00 for 6-12 and Free for kids 5 and under.
