Kitty ?

The guy who farms our land saw a lion cross  the road . It came out of my trees and crossed the road into a bean feild. This was about 8.00 last night. We went out and glassed for a while and couldnt find anything. How would you hunt for this? Do you think he would come in to a electric call? Ive had a couple cameras up in that area for weeks but dont have any pics of it yet. just passing through maybe?

Wow, a cat in cass? Dont think one has been shot on the east side yet. Be pretty cool to get the first one.

Guy shot one last night right by town near Beulah with his bow as it approached his low tree stand head on. Shot it in the head, guess it really went crazy after that!

One was shot down by Cogswell a couple years ago. Also some horses attacked by Larimore, etc..... so they do show up here in the east once in awhile. Normally young males looking for a territory. Odds are this lion is probally a long ways away by now, thus no pics on your cameras. Their territories will sometimes cover over 100 square miles, odds of seeing this cat again are slim if thats what was actually seen.

Guess the G&F looked into it and won't confirm it "thinks it was a dog or something".The guy even recorded it on video with his phone after he shot it when it was "screaming" with trying to get the arrow out. They've been out trying to find it, I'm sure the 3.5 inches of rain didn't help yesterday with tracking. Who knows
