Any suggestions on how to keep my neighbor's cat out of my boat?  I have a boat cover on it, he still gets in, and covers it in hair.

I heard a .22 works well.
In lieu of violence, might have to strap the tarp down tighter.

Wouldn't a 6 ft long by 2 ft wide hole that your neighbor is buried in raise be a little suspicious when someone files a missing persons report?

.22, maybe a snare trap around the wheel well area...you could always go with a #110 Body Trap...or the live trap however I would only reccomend that as a last resort....happy hunting

Allen.....I was referring to the cat.   I didn't think Jiffy would ever get his cat trained to do this....but I guess he figured it out.

Ask you neighbor to shave her kitty.

Cover the floor with sticky mouse traps.  The cat will die in the boat or escape.  Either way you're rid of him.  A nicer way would be to cover the floor with some duct tape sticky side up.

Ever think of explaining the problem to the neighbor? Maybe ask them to keep the cat away from the boat?

Like a dog digging through a sack of garbage left overnight on the curb, the problem lies with the owner, not the pet. Animals will do what comes naturally to them if given the chance. Boat smells of fish, cat investigates. Cats fault? Not by a long ways.
