Kandi ATV's or Polaris Outlaw 50?

Hello and Season Greetings Everyone!

I am looking at an ATV for my son.  I can get a Polaris 50 cc ATV for roughly $1800 and it comes with the flag and helmit.  I can get a Kandi 110cc ATV that is on the 50cc chassis for less than $1000.

Anybody have some experience here?

I hear the 50cc Polaris motors tend to gum up.  Any rumors on this true?

I hear the Kandi atv's are made with cheap parts and fall apart?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dan
Take a kid hunting instead of hunting for your kid.

First I am a Dad, then a husband, then a hunter.  Sometimes I get the husband and hunter mixed up, but luckily my wife remembers what order they should be in. :-)

Polaris would be the best choice of the two you mentioned. Kandi's are make very cheap like you said and will not last long. The resale value of a used  Kandi  is low. Chinese junk.

Shoot to kill.

I remember when my buddys Dad thought that too. Good plan until his Dad wanted to test drive it. Ended up flipping it, messing up his back really bad and having to explain to his Boss why he couldn't come to work. Plus my buddy didn't get to buy it either! So as long as you don't do a test drive I agree with the safer part. ; ) Stay Safe my friend!

Pretty much set on an ATV.  I appreciate the input everyone.

Does anyone out there have one of those Kandi ATV's?  Looks like there is a dealership in Mandan.  Someone out there has to have one they can give som feedback on.

Thanks.

My sone had a couple little Chinese made ATV's - don't know if they were Kandis or not.  Cheap - only 2WD (which is OK for kids, anyway) and no pull start, only electric with no charging system  They were 4 strokes.
I got one his kids grew out of for the kid of a hunting buddy.   It runs, but its really CHEAP, though the kids do grow out of them in a hurry .   I wouldn't recommend this ATV, anyway, but didn't realize the little named brand ones were so expensive.  Might find a good used on on Bis-Man online.
