Was wondering if anyone could give some some info on Josephine. Took the kids out there this summer and want to do some ice fishing out there. What is the ice thickness and are there any springs to worry about in this lake? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Disaster from the get-go! If anyone found my Frabil 5+ gal. bucket with a yellow minnow bucket inside w/ 2 scoops of minnows "right at the boat landing", please let me know as it would be very much appreciated! 1st we dug a trailer out of a snow bank to haul the ATV, only to bury it just off the landing. After much work, it was back on the trailer & we drug the house & gear out by hand. Got set-up, tried to ignite the heater and the thermal couple was bad not to mention I "borrowed" my p-tank wrench last summer for camping (so much for deer sausage). After a couple of hours with no bites, decided it was time to get back (no flashlight). Dragging the house out there was terrible... dragging it back was complete misery! Could only find depths of around 9', the past "regular" spot was much further east & that just wasn't going to happen today. Talked to some other guys and they had caught a couple of perch and a 6" or so walleye. If you go out there, take a snowmobile! Ice was good & it looked to be about 16" or so. If anybody found my minnow bucket, please give me a call @ 701-400-5408 I'm in Bismarck. Thanks, Todd |

4 inches of clear ice. Marked fish the whole time I was there. I wasn't the first one to go on the ice there. Nobody was there when I was. Fished 4ft-13ft.
