Jamestown Reservior - Monday, January 16, 2006

We were out on sat and sunday in 15-20 ft of water. Caught alot of fish. Most in the 16 inch range but managed a 4.5 lb'r about 20 minutes before sundown. Suprisingly no snot rockets.

Most of the fish taken on dead sticks with the larger fish being caught about 3 inches off the bottom. We fishd off the south end of the island... got away from the crowds.

We caught 15 crappies also, they came on glow-jigs. Missed several fish, but the kids were plenty busy.

ANyone heard about the crappies up at smokies? We are headed out again tomorrow...going to ahve to fake a little sickness while the fish are biting!!
