pheasant numbers are down in ND but not as far down in SD.  Wow we must be doing something different ---- huh -------- or maybe our winter was less severe huh --------

DREAM ON --- another smoke screen -- what a joke and then  this add -- ding ding ding.    Lets issue a few more deer tags while were at it too.

Problem down here was because of the winter . Snow didn't kill the birds as bad as the fact that it made most of the cover worthless and the hawks and eagles didn't leave as the pheasants were so easy to pick off.

South Dakota numbers are off 50% in many areas in the Northeast including the Clark, Watertown, etc... area. I see good numbers of birds west and south of Aberdeen all the way to Pierre. Bird numbers on the east side of ND are the lowest I've seen since 1997! There will be small pockets of birds where some survived to have a hatch, but many areas will simply be void of birds! I think the old saying "Go west young man" will apply this year if you want decent pheasant hunting in ND! Although good luck finding reasonable motel accomodations!!

If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?
