It's a sad day...

They cancelled the first FLW bass tourney due to bad river conditions.

For the first year I went in blind.  I now purchase players advantage.  It really provides nothing you can't get on your own.  It just cuts down on time needed to do research.  This Red River tournament was a complete question mark with the river conditions.

Too bad a guy wasn't competing for $100,000 like the days of old!  Two years ago I came kinda close.  Last year a friend at work came really close.  The dang guys had to change how they score points (for the better).  If a person didn't have to hit exactas the last few years I think people could have done better by being consistent and getting a handful into the top ten.

Anyway, yeah, I use the advantage now.  Primarily, it is awesome for the live weigh-ins.  I don't know what I'm going to do now.  It was my favorite time when weigh-ins started!

Ya for some reason 2 years ago I came across this and tried it out. I'm sure not one who knows to much about this kind of fishing nor do I rarely try it but I gave this a whirl and took a shot in the dark and managed to get 24th place!!!!I won a $300 gift card to Walmart. I couldn't believe it, so I took it and spent it on a nice camera. I thought it was worth a shot and heck it was...needless to say I got lucky.

Yeah, I got a $500 savings bond but I cashed it for $250 instead of waiting for maturity.  The same buddy who almost got in the $100,000 has gotten a prize a few times.  The prizes have fizzled in recent years and this year they really fizzled.  Still, beat the heck out of any other fantasy sport setup!

I don't know anything with hunting.  Not sure how they could do such a thing anyway.

I know they have a televised hunting tournament which sounded pretty lame. It was either on Versus or Outdoor channel.
You can't shoot a big one if you shoot a small one!
