In-fisherman problem?

I subscribed to In-Fisherman two or three years ago and when  the subscription ran out I would get billing invoices saying that I owed them money. So I would send them the money. I would then start getting the mag again. The subscrption would run its course and when it expired I would get these same letters. I have now recieved  four of these letters and they are demanding payment in a threatening way. Also these invoices have no phone number or email adress to contact them whatsoever. I went on the In-Fisherman website and sent an email saying that I want my subscription cancelled and would gladly pay any money that I owe and to contact me if there are any questions. I never heard back from them and the letters continue to come.

Has anyone else ever had this problem with them?

Are you referring to letters threatening to send you to a collection agency?   I decided not to renew a magazine subscription a couple of years ago (can't remember what), but when my subscription ran out; I began receiving letters threatening to send me to a collection agency.  I did not owe them any money, but I was still concerned about this, so I called them.  My understanding, is that some of the magazine publishers were using this as a tactic to get you to renew.  Not sure if your situation is the same, but it is probably something that you can ignore.

It hasn't come to that point yet but by the tone of the letters it wouldn't suprise me if it does come to that. What a crappy way to treat your costomers. It has really put a sour taste in my mouth when it comes to In-Fisherman. After the Lindners sold it to Stange the mag has really gone down hill IMO.

They should rename it Swimbait-Fisherman.

"Swimbait Fisherman"--

"Just look at this velvety golden eel !!"

"No one--and I mean NO HUMAN BEING on this earth has thought of targeting trophy eel with this modified swimbait!  In a pinch, you could yank one through an eel's HEAD!!" They throb and they SINK!!  Rigging them ass-backwards combined with this slow selling 19'5" pitching rod, will produce ignored fish on obsure structure."

I still enjoy In-Fisherman TV and swimbaits are cool.   I also like the the Linder's "Edge" and the Scripture at the end of the show.
