Ice on the Red River

How is all this snow going to affect the river ice. Drove by the sheyenne river yesterday morning on 12 ave and there was water on the ice. Looks like the water level had dropped as the ice looked like a bowl from side to side.

up here in gf i'm gonna wait until new years and the drop a few holes its been warm to freeze it as hard as i would like it been thin and now with all the snow i'm gonna wait for a week or so
