ice age (the meltdown)

As I drive back and forth between Williston and Newtown on Hwy 1804 several times a week, I have watched for the signs that tell me the Ice age is over.  Anxiously waiting for the ice to turn from snow covered white, to a slushy green, and finally a water soaked black.  This week the arrival of the wind and warmer temperatures brought first the ducks to the puddles and creeks.  Then the cranes landed in the fields.  Finally the pelicans found the few open pockets of water near the mouth of the creeks.  At last it brought the long awaited ribbons of water slicing the ice pack, slowly getting wider until they went shore to shore.  Today was the day open water returned to the Sak! This morning it was only as far as Tobacco Gardens, by this afternoon it was nearly to Hofflund WMA, and by tomorrow I expect White Earth bay should be opening up.  Free at last from the ice age!

Hopefully at least decent weather in the future wanted to try tomorrow but windy and rain, been raining here on the border for 3 hours now.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.
