This is the lion I arrowed on Friday.  It's a great/giant tom.  This completes my first ever perfect Montana season.  I went 10 for 10 on tags.  7 bow kills ans 3 archery kills.

My new Shed dog
Got my daughter an early Easter present a puppy.  Hope to make a shed dog out of him.  13 weeks old and we took him on a 4 mile hike.

I found the match to this horn last Nov when my mom was out hunting.  This is a 2 year old horn and he looks to be a 7x7 typical.  He has great mass and main beams.  We have hunted

Well it took 7 days to catch up with him but last night I hit pay dirt.  This goat has given my fits since season opened.  My buddy works evenings and has been hunting him every morning.

Took my 1st ever pack trip.  I've hiked into the Bob Marshel wilderness a ton but never on a horse.  My buddy has a sheep tag and we rode in Friday to spend 3 days looking for sheep.

What a year. After 43 days of hunting one buck I finally was able to close the deal. Thinking back over the year I recall all the close calls. The 3 times I had him under 100 yards in full velvet
A little fishing over vacation
Nikki had my cuz Brian take her to the ribver in Bismarck this am.  It was cold and wind but this guy warmed things up. 26 1/2"  They caught a few good eaters too.  I stayed home

Longbow Long beard
I took my long bow and went turkey hunt.  The results???  A BAD 8 yard shoot and a 400 yard chase ended with me finally getting my longbow around the turkeys head and catching him.
