Hunting Pants

After belly crawling for antelolpe a few days in Montana and scouting for deer here in ND, I'm still picking out cactus from knees and other parts of the anatomy.    I wear those canvassy brush pants, but they simply don't stop many prickly pear thorns!

Just wondering what everyone else wears.  Is there any company that makes pants with  a thin sheet of kevlar over the knees and butt or at least something  impervious to cactus?
Wouldn't have to be kevlar, but something thorn proof.  Heck, I have kevlar lined bicycle tires (I hate changing flats) and they aren't very expensive, so cost of a thin layer would be acceptable, especially if you only wore them hunting or scouting.
Any suggestions??

The newest iteration of Sitka Gear Mountain Pants have some sort of knee pad deal.  I don't have them but I bet someone here does.

I was going to recommend the same Horsager. I haven't used them yet, but it looks like it should do the trick. Also knowing Sitka's quality first hand, I'd put my money on that they work.

I use knee pads for spot and stalk.  Best think I've tried so far.
The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. Then why do I hunt? I hunt for the same reason my well-fed cat hunts...because I must, because it is in the blood, because I am the decendent of a thousand generations of hunters. I hunt because I am a hunter.- Finn Aagard

I preferr not to wear any.  Just go no clothes.  It really confuses the animal.

Yeah.  That sucks.  I knealt right down on a cactus a couple years ago.  One time I even laid down on one and got a thorn in my gut.  It festered and got all infected till I pulled it out with a tweezers.

My grandon got a buttful sliding down a bank.  His yelling sure taught us that antelope can hear just fine at 1/4 mile!  I'll bet his mom is still pickin em out.
Thanks for the suggestions - I'll look into the Sitkas.  I thought of kneepads, but keeping the darned things on might be problematic.
SandBurrs and goat heads are tough on human hide, too.

Crawling from your present position to a commode in a drunken stupor is differenter than crawling up sneakily on a creature.

Filson makes good stuff, plus, when it's time to re-wax this can lead to more adventure.

I have a pair of oil canvas pants, need to wear long jons or some other type of layer under them as they are a bit chilly but they repel buck brush and anything else I have encountered. I believe they are Key's or Filson can't recall but they were $120. Never crawled through cactus though.
