How to get rid of the fish smell?

I think this has been discussed before but how do you guys get the fish smell off of your hands after cleaning fish?   I've tried lemon juice, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, all kinds of soap and sure they work to a point but it still lingers.   How about that little metal "odor removing" bar they sell at sporting goods stores?   Heard it was a gimic.

I haven't found anything that works as well as FAST ORANGE.  I prefer the pumice grit although some like the smooth texture.

I never had any more use for it after it was proof to my buddies of how good of a fishermani was.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.

I like the smell of fish, but not as much as chilly mac breath that drives away bullies.

Berkley sells a bottled product for this, also the various hunting odor eliminating soaps work well. I also find that if it's really bad or you get a bucket or livewell that stinks, vanilla extract works pretty well.

If you take any nonscented liquid hand soap and add a couple of drops of anise to it. You can usually buy anise at the grocery in the spice section. Smells like licorice.

Those metal bars are stainless steel so I just rub soap up and rinse my hands and then rub them on the side of the sink it gets rid most of the smell.

+1 on the scent eliminating soaps.  I've had good luck with this one.  I think the dirt soap smells awesome, the wife not so much!

As far as equipment like buckets go, use vinegar.

Check out the gas thread....might help, but don't touch your bait.

I just fish with Fracdog and he takes the fish off my blue clowny for me so I never have to touch the fish. He is a great guide.

I have found for coolers and buckets just put some news paper in the bottom and a few charcoal briquets and close the lid or cover the pail a couple of days and you can't smell anything.

Deodorant or Crest toothpaste.  Both work great.

Go to walmart and go back to the fishing section just above the bait buckets and they got this stuff called Grime Boss. they are hand wipes they say they meant for fish odors and gas smell. I've tried them out and they work  fantastic and fit in your tackle box or boat,
