How many crank baits do you own?

I just got done doing all my fall sale shopping and my girl freind was giving me crap about how many crank baits i had which i have about a 100. so i was wondering about how many cranks do you guys have?

I only have about 20, but it pains me to pull cranks and I try and avoid it as much as possible. A serious cranker should probably have around 200. All the different sizes, types and 2 of every color of each at a minimum. IMO

I'm sure at least 2000. Afraid to count and I'm sure I'd waste a whole day that I could be hunting or fishing if I ever tried.

I probably have 50-70. Rarely do I have what I consider to be enough variety for the conditions.

Well, that's probably not true. Spring fishing the Missouri, I can get away with about 9 not including spares. A #5 and #7 rap in blue/silver, chartreuse/silver, and mud minnow then a #7 countdown in the same colors. That pretty much gets me through the spring on the Mo.

Now for other locations I will tend to use a larger variety for depth, colors, and action.

Not really sure but I have a dresser drawer full of unopened cranks just in case a color gets "hot". That way I always have extras.

I have about 25 that I never even used, if I can't catch one on a jig or a spinner then I go without.

I thought a lot. But I don't. Although, I am sure around a 800 bucks in cranks might be enough by many. Not on Sak though, been losing some last year. Now I don't have two of every color anymore. And the sizes are unlimited.

I think I'm around 500. No where near enough! I have somewhere around 150 in the boat at all times. Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

After this weekend I have around 12 less than i had on Thursday. Actually bought about 30 before this last trip. I would say i have around 300. My buddy i fish with on occasion probably has around 2500.
