my cousin has one and loves it. i carry my quiver on my pack i wear in and out of my stand or ground blind. one less thing to rattle/vibrate on your bow.
cant drink all day unless you start in the morning.

Not a hip one, but I have used a shoulder quiver back when I used a recurve.  In hindsight, it was fairly comfy and out of the way compared to a quiver on the bow.  Easier and quieter for taking an arrow out of then many friction held arrows are in a bow quiver.

The con is that  when crawling (I do a lot of spot and stalk) the arrows are horizontal and this is just a different problem than having them on the bow.  Don't really like either but they are different.
