That is funny.  IMHO I don't think the pro fishing tour will ever get the kind of respect they hope for as long as u can just pay to play

The Bass boys have it figured out like Van Dam, Reese, Ehrler, Morgan, Thrift and the likes.  They are pro staffers for a reason, they get it done on the leaderboard and not by putting decals on their pickups.

But I should add, most of the "pro staffing" stuff is worthy of achieving.  Not so much for personal glory or even how you place yourself on the leaderboard but by representing a company.  Many folks get paid well to represent product and companies (paid reps, salesman, etc).  Although, many more folks do not.  There is a way of living in the fishing world but boy, it sure is slim pickings.  Especially on the walleye side of things.  Many folks that are in the tourneys today are people with the financial ability to basically pay to play.  That's fine I guess, we all could do it if we wanted to prioritize that sort of thing.

My understanding is those boys have to qualify to fish the big stuff.
