Just got back from Hiddenwood. I fished southwest of where the fishing pier is usually put in at in 12 feet of water. Landed two perch and one very small walleye. I had one flag but never seen what tripped it. I am pretty sure it was a small northern as it took out 15 yards of line and dropped the smelt. The water seemed pretty cloudy and visability was 6 feet at best.

Never drove on the ice did not see any tracks yet. There should be good ice fishing this winter? I think there is an ice fishing derby on Makoti Lake in the first Part of Jan. sometime. I might do some explore ing there soon.
