A guy I know in Bismarck makes the best tarps, including snap on covers. His name is Brian Zins, his phone number is (701) 255-1684. He makes them out of a heavy duty material and guarantees them for life.

I will second Brian and if you are in this area give him a call. Have a tarp on that has never been inside for over 8 years and still working great.

Yes Brian is in the NDARNG and does this on the side, well worth it to check out his work. I will say I know him personnally, but I would say talk to him and others who had tarps done and check out his work and decide for yourself.

Thanks for the comments guys.  I am wanting a cover to try and keep the "unhonest" people out.  i know they can still get in but maybe they will look for an easier target.  Had one boat completly robbed once and never seen anything again. I do have a storage building i just want to stay at some hotels and travel  to fish.  Never had a boat big enough to do that until now.  THANKS to all for the suggestions.  Its appreciated.

brian zins did one for me last summer and I am glad I found him. Did a great job and had a short turn around. Not only that but a great guy on top of it. He uses quality materials and listens to what you say you want and also has some great ideas of his own to customize your tarp. I hope he still makes them if I ever need another one.

No matter what you get for a tarp or where you go to fish, do yourself a favor, tarp the boat BEFORE getting to the hotel.  No sense in the rest of the guests knowing what you've got in there.  I usually tarp up at the fish cleaning station and have the on-board charger plug hanging out so that all I need to do is run an extension cord, plug in and nobody at the hotel gets a really good look.  Other guests have the most amount of time to mess with your stuff.

Thanks for kind words on my boat covers fella's :)!!! I will have to add tho that I don't quarantee them for life as mentioned, but it will more than likely be the last cover you have to buy for that boat. It's always nice to hear good things from people you do things for.   :)

Not to hijack the thread but does anybody have a reccomendation for a tarp builder in the Minot area. I'm do for a new tarp but trailering it to Fargo to get it to TRS isn't an option as I don't have the time to waste. Also it adds another $200+ to the tarp buy the time I add in the cost for fuel, food, and such to make that trip. I'd be willing to get it to Bismarck but that's about as far as I'd be willing to go. Any suggestions?
