Help & Assistance Needed in Devils Lake Area - Please Read & Respect

All,
I hope everyone can help with information and prayers.  I do not know him personally, but have gotten to know his son on several Devils Lake fishing trips. 

Please be respectful in this challenging time.

If you see anything that may help when you are out fishing Devils Lake this weekend, or those out last weekend - Please contact the authorities to assist in bringing a fellow ice fisherman home.

I will try update this thread as I get more information.


WDAZ-TV) - The Eddy County Sheriff's Department is seeking information regarding a New Rockford, ND, man reported missing.

 

Michael Hermanson, 53, has been missing since Monday, January 23. He was last seen that day at 7 a.m. as he was heading out to fish near Devils Lake and Warwick.

 

Hemanson was driving a blue Chevrolet pickup with the license plate number EYF-463. He has brown/grey hair, a mustache and medium build.

 

If you have any information, contact the Eddy County Sheriff's Department at 701-947-5515

Wow this is a crappy deal... I kinda know him and had no idea he was missing.  Let's hope for the best.

I know mike since i use to live there. Him and i didnt see eye to eye but i hope the best for him and his family!!! He loves to fish.

Can someone get some of his "hotspots" listed on here.? I am guessing that some of his hotspots might be where others go as well.  I tend to hit the same spots when I am out there so I imagine he would too.


At least get this post up to the top.
Take a kid hunting instead of hunting for your kid.

First I am a Dad, then a husband, then a hunter.  Sometimes I get the husband and hunter mixed up, but luckily my wife remembers what order they should be in. :-)

They were up in planes today and as of a few hours ago there was no word.  I will see if I can find out something on his normal spots.  What I know so far is Devils Lake, Irvine, and Warwick are their main focus.

 why in the article do they mention his arrest for a DUI... Who cares, a man is missing... sometime the people that publish that crap should be horse whipped.....

 Know his son also, both love to fish and I know his son is a quality fisherman and avid hunter and a really nice guy.  He will be in my prayers.

I am hearing that they have found him, Not a good ending, sounds like it was a lake south of Warwick, possibly Lake Coe. Prayers to his family, such a bad deal.

Yes, I also have a heard they found some items that may have been in the back of his pickup out on the ice.
