I couldn't believe my eyes...a Mule Deer buck!  Smack dab in the center of the city of Minot!  Weird.

Stizo, my God, why didn't you do the right thing and shoot him on the spot?  Think of the implications this "foreigner" could cause.......depredations, crop damage, fence damage, disease, etc.  And even though he was on public land, he will most likely set hoof on someones private property, in which case he should surely be blasted into oblivion....send a message to all mule deer that they will not be tolerated outside of the lands the NDG&F and landowners feel they should occupy.

In case you haven't caught on, the above solution is how the elk are currently managed in E3/E4.

I say to hell with that pot o' gold.

Kim Fundingsland from the Minot Daily just called my business looking for me, and asked for permission to use the photos in the paper.  So an article about the little Oak Park Muley Buck should be appearing soon.
