12" of perfect ice, water clarity was poor in 15 FOW probably 3-4 ft, caught 6 decent perch all around 9-10"

Fishing was pretty good overall. Caught 20-25 perch, with the dozen we kept in that 9" to 12" range. Caught the normal 6-8 snot rockets and after 3 snapped lines we said #@*!! it an left. The ice is all good ice at 18"-24" with about 6"-10" of snow on it

Going to make a quick correction. I measured the perch i caught and they are all 7-8" big....guess my eyes were bigger than my tape measure haha.

Fishing was pretty good. Caught bout 20...kept 14 perch...all bout 9"...caught one 30" pike on a tip up...was out about 5 hours in 15 FOW.....be very careful on this lake as the ice varies from 12" to about 18"...there is a natural spring on this lake and wherever there is the most snow cover the ice is def thinnest....snow is only 6-10" deep though and other spots of course have no snow

Went out at 8:30 am for perch and got nothing. Left at 11 and came back at 2:15 and did tip ups for northern and jjigged again for perch. Marked quite a few perch and probably fingerling pike. Caught a few perch, about 3:30, but was very slow. Saw some decent pike up to 30" caught by other group that had being fishing for them since 8. Ice is from 8-10" and water clarity is real good.
