finally got to use my spearing shack I set out last weekend. Water has come up 4inches and froze down the base, will be a real chore to break out later. A little slow but not bad, speared 5 out of 8 pike that came through the holes. missed one 10lb cause I stepped on my rope. oops. The nephew speared his first 2 pike today he was pretty happy with the day. tip ups produced a small walleye and many lite bites but nothing great and only 2 perch on jigs over 8". 4Yaks
