Go To Perch Lure????

I've been hitting the perch these last few months on the good ole fashioned swedish pimples and was wondering if anyone has been catching perch on these new fangled flying darters, chubby nipples, or rattling rock shotters??  Call me old school, but I'm ahving trouble buying into the "new" lures.  I love to catch perch through the ice, so I'm all ears to what other guys find effective.

My go to lure is a hali, pretty much all I use when panfishing.  I like that it fishes heavy when you are in over 20 FOW.

Glow lindy frostees and lindy fatheads tipped with a minnow head. That should get some perch through the hole although its just my little experience opinion.

Since active perch seem to always come in bunches - Hali's are a must.  After catching one it gets you fishing really quick again. . . at least in deep water it makes a big difference.

Hali's, Frostee spoons, and as Ahab said a Buckshot with a chain.  I have also had very good luck with just the plain red hook and a minnow.

Hali's are really handy, I picked up a few unintentionaly on lindy darters last year which was cool. However by far the biggest producer- aberdeen plain gold hook with small minnow and split shot.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.

Boy KDM, I know its hard to resist new flashy tackle, I'm as guilty as the rest of us when it comes to decoratin the flambeau, but when it comes to perch thru the ice you out of all of us should know its all about whatever gets to the bottom with bait on it the fastest.  when they're biting, they're biting and its just a matter of who can get the bait back in front of their face quicker than the next guy.  and a swedish pimple has it all, it's flashy, heavy, and plenty of hook space for whatever bait you wanna throw down there.

The only real change ups I have made with real finicky perch is downsizing.  as long as it's tiny and smells something like food, they'll try it out long enough for a hook set.
