We fished the east side against the Riverdale bluffs on Sat night from about 6:30 to 9pm.  Had the balls set at 90ft and 100 ft fishing in about 120ft of water. The first hour we used a white flasher with a red squid and  pink flasher with pink squid.   after getting one release with no fish we switched to a blue flasher and blue squid and it was only about 20 minutes and we got one small one...Read more

Hit the 'race this morning.  One white bass on beach below rocks.  Couldn't feel our fingers after 1/2hr casting.  Paid my 5 bucks and found State Park to be Dead Sea again.  Nice lady at Scott's told us to hit the blocks.  Immediate pike action, little/some salmon evidence (8:30) lots of rising trout.  Rigged wire leaders and pressed on.  Decent number of 5lb class pike caught throughout the...Read more

Fished state park swim beach from sunrise to 1030.  Dead Sea.  Saw one pike caught from boat.  Went to east tailrace, saw one salmon jump, no further activity.  Boy caught two dandy whitebass on #11 black/chrome Rap on two consecutive casts; largest 17in/3lb.  If I had a do-over, I'd hit the race at daybreak.Read more

Went out Sunday for about 7 or 8 hours and didn't even get a tickle.  Did hear that there was 2 caught, but with somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 or 30 boats out thats not too good.  Still a little early, but I am thinking it should be heating up in the next 2 weeks.  I know last year we got out Labor Day weekend and it was hot, but they had been going strong for 2 weeks by then.  Saw a guy...Read more

You better get up there soon. A buddy and I killed them on Saturday. It took us 6 hours to limit out, but we lost quite a few and missed quite a few as well. Probably had 30 salmon on or so, but a few are starting to show up  belly up in the bays so you're running out of time. The fish we caught still had a lot of fight in them. All males but 1 but the biggest males were over 10 pounds. Meat...Read more
