A friend and I went fishing on Audubon Sunday morning. Fished from 8:00-3:30pm, pretty slow. Caught one small walleye in 20 FOW and I hooked up with a fish in the icehouse but it got off. Felt like a decent pike. The icehouse was on 10 FOW. Not real sure where I should have been fishing to target walleye, still learning all this stuff by trial and error...Read more

Fished yesterday afternoon and evening - 32 feet of water - Had cameras down with lots of fish moving through - no takers whatsoever. Anyone been doing good well after dark fishing shallow (3 to 8 fow) with tipups or even sleeping overnight in those depths. Have done very good in the past after 10:00pm in those depth ranges but seems to me it's good one year and the next year setting shallow is a waste. Last year the shallow late night bite lasted all thru February.Read more

Right at dusk I started marking fish and had 1 nice eater (18in), on the ice,...Read more
