I just want people to be aware that this isn't a loss of control spillway flow.  As I undertand it Peck is designed a little different and to send increased cfs they have to use the spillway.

Peck currently has about 3.6 feet before it is completely full and it then becomes a loss of control spillway event.  Basically, we are maxed out and that's that.  Wowsers!

They will have it close.  Hell, it already is 3.32 feet away from being full.

The dams will be opened though as they do not like to have them running over the spillway.  Amazing puzzle to solve and I don't know if it is doable.

My family got a call from the Corps of Engineers last night telling us to move equipment near the river to high ground. They plan uping the output to more than double what is coming out now. They figure that it might flood enough to get to the edge of town here in Culbertson and we are 2 miles from the river. Hopefully it doesn't get too wild!!
