has anyone been out too or heard anything about froelich lately?? need to try something different thinking bout heading south.......................

Went out yesterday afternoon and evening.. caught a couple small northerns and a couple small walleyes.Kept two decent walleyes but the edges are getting really soft. Ice out from the edges was good but its gonna be tough to get on in short order |

Went out on Friday, water was really high...tough to unload the boat...But caught 6 small northerns...No walleyes...

went out today and caught 5 fish. 1 nice northern and 2 small ones, also 2 10 inch fat perch. overall pretty slow.

I work down in that area (Selfridge) an have not seen or heard of anyone catching anything. I don't think they stock it much. I would head to Dorfman Lake down around Ashley or Lehr for Pike they can catch them on hot dogs that is how many are in those lakes. Good Luck

Was there last September and only managed two pike. Nice little lake though.

Took the kids on their 1st boat trip and was just hoping to get into some good pike action. Water is nice and high and clarity isn't too bad. Tried trolling around with cranks and spinnerbaits but had very little action. Got several strikes by casting a spinnerbait into the shallows but only was able to keep one 3 pounder on. Couple other boats on the water but couldn't tell how they were doing. Has anyone been fishing this place and having any kind of luck? This lake was awesome around 1997 - 2003 or so. Probably could still have some fun with the pike if a guy wanted too but I am not sure about any of the other species.
