I went out yesterday for a couple hours and only got one pike, maybe 3 pounds. Marked 3 other fish but no takers. |

Stuey ... you idiot where's the ice report? 10 inches in the middle, and as low as 6 inches in snow packed coves. That was before this weekend's blizzard!

Has anyone been fishing Fordville lately? I haven't been out that way for about two weeks. Getting the itch to catch something other than Catfish but don't want to leave a heavy bite on the Red if nobody is catching anything. Please let me know if you have a report.

Did the Fordville Dam thing yesterday, Tuesday June 10th, and it was great. Caught a 12.6 lb Gator and a number of small ones in four hours. Had two other large fish on but both they didn't take the hook. No Eyes, Perch or Bluegill and hardly anything on the depthfinder. Trolled with the motor, fast troll, in water depths anywhere from 6-20 fow. Taking the wife and kid out there Saturday, see you all out there.

Was out at Matejcek from 7:00 a.m. to about 12:00 on Saturday and didn't catch anything. Trolled with cranks for a couple of hours, jigged with leeches and worms and threw out a few bobbers. Not a bite. Went over to Fordville Dam around 12:00 and was there until 2:00. One couple caught two eyes but we didn't have any luck there either. One of those weekends I guess. I will be back again.

fished today from 8 till 4 and only managed two pike both were caught on daredevils in about 17 ft of water on the east side

Oh well, nowadays you're better off collecting unemployment that working anyway. I kicked the old lady out of the house last December. Someone was stuffing her stocking.
