Im wondering why we arent seeing any flood sales here in Bismarck. Id think that at least grocery stores in the areas likely to flood would be trying to get rid of their frozen or perishable goods.

Really? Why don't you go sandbag instead of worrying about getting discounted groceries.

God forbid someone goes grocery shopping during a flood! Got at family?

I agree with taylormann people need to relax a lot of snapping, crying, and complaining on here.

Just watched the meeting where they approved building the 500k fox island dike. I cant believe they did that, and those poor guys crying about their homes. There are a lot of less fortunate people who are going to be a lot worse off after this than those living on Fox Island. Why not build a dike around some trailer parks and save hundreds of homes of people who wont be able to afford to rebuild and probably dont have flood insurance?

Exactly which trailer parks are outside the current protected area that need there own dike?  I've looked at the maps and can't seem to see any.

Worked on a sandbagging a house on the wrong side of the Fox Island dike. The poor guy is in Mayo and it was cousins and in-laws who had been diking hard for the last couple of days. We finished a nice five foot dike but with water at the bottom of it already I doubt it will be enough. Serval place down there are already going under.

Not often, but when the garden tomatoes are ripe i like a BLT with a good piece of lettuce not some sh*t lettuce.  Lettuce Lettuce Lettuce lets keep saying Lettuce.

I don't look at prices at the grocery store.  I see it and buy it and thats it.  Thanks for the information though.  When i start buying lettuce by the wheel barrow full then this will come in handy.

Mmmm, that does sound pretty good.  I might go buy some lettuce right now and make a burger just like Wendy's.  I might not get the patty perfectly square though.

Absolutely do not buy a wheelbarrow full of lettuce!  That would equate to roughly 118 heads of lettuce, which is way too much unless you're planning some grand congregation of some sort.  Mmmmmmmmmmm...cabbage rolls anyone?
