Fishing Buddy mobile and IE-9

OK, so I am just wondering if it's me, my toys or if FBO just isn't keeping up with the times.

Fishing Buddy mobile -

I use an Android 3 and on FBO it just plain sucks.  Can't start a new topic because the only way it can/will type in the "Post" section is to use a Plain Text Window and there is no option for a plain text window when creating a new topic.  Must also use the plain text window when replying to posts but the "submit" button is too close to other buttons and my big fingers end up hitting something else.  Suggest a simple larger button and/or distance between Submit and other clickable icons. I've noticed other less than desirable things on my Droid, but those are what comes to mind right now.

Internet Explorer version 9.  It's really glitchy in the text box when typing.  You lose the cursor often and that can make it difficult to edit posts before submitting them.

Anyway, since both IE9 and the Droid are both pretty new for me, I was just wondering if it's my setup or if others had also noticed the same.  And if others are seeing this, if FBO was trying to address it.

Thanks!

When viewing FBO on your Droid are you using m.fishingbuddy.com or the regular site? Using m.fishingbuddy.com should clear up the posting.

You do lose the quoting feature though.

For the fbo tech guys, I noticed if I'm on the top topics section and I click on start a new topic it takes me to homepage instead.

Ie 9 seems to be fine for me. Been using it a while but then I have not made big long posts using it either.

One more for fbo tech guys. When on the new topics section and I click onstart a new topic it goes to the home page. If I'm on the forum section and click on start a new topic , it works fine.

I have made my concerns known to the higher ups that the site should become more mobile savvy. Before my iPhone I had no way of testing. In a nutshell I feel your pain and it has been introduced to those that can do something about it.

Yes, using my Droid X on FBO makes me angry.

Ok, testing the actual m.fishingbuddy now. Thanks bckhntr, I was thinking the Roid was defaulting to the mobile version. Nope!

That "submit" button is still too close to the links below it though. Let's see if I take enough care to not end up at "forums home"

I whined about the inability to start new topics, no quoting, and the mobil ads months ago. Don't hold your breath expecting a fix. Now that Tim suffers too maybe I'll be proven wrong... Hope so!
