I have stayed on the water too long before when catching fish.

This pic is very photoshopped though. If you zoom in you can see that the two pictures were different quality by the amount of pixels. Decent photoshop job though.

We were fishing in a tournament in Van Hook one year when the air became "charged" from lightning. We were pulling cranks and my partner went to grab one of the rods and got zapped. We had to put the rods away for a bit while the electricity cleared the air. It was kinday spooky but a fisherman does what he has to do to catch fish I guess.

I was in Canada and a storm rolled in.  I could hear the electricity on my rod and line, it was a snapping sound.  I was pretty freaked out and got out of there fast.

Ya, its crazy! Those rods really hum when the lighting is around. Good time to put them into the storage locker away from your body.
