Took the boat out July 5...water temp right around 76?. Tried for smallies on the flats and came up empty-handed. Trolled cranks by the high bank and dam and picked up about 15 good size rainbows in an hour or two near dusk. Mid-divers in black or perch colors seemed to be the ticket trolled at about 6' over 20 FOW. Beautiful day on the lake, though most of the turtles were nowhere to be seen.
