Went out on Sat. without a house. Thought it was a mistake at first but then the fish started biting. Got three nice ones in about 45 minutes. Missed a few when i had both holes hit at once a couple times. This was in about 18-20 FOW at about 2:00-3:00.

Was out both Sat and Sun.
On Sat fished with plastic worms and caught four bass one at 16 inches and then caught 15 bass on the fly rod with a small chartrues popper; one smallmouth at 15.5 inches On Sun just fished with the flyrod caught 20 bass and 1 trout on a red and yellow deer hair popper. One bass was 16 inches and the trout was 16.5 inches. lots and lots of weeds out there but there are fish to be caught, good luck out there |

Took the boat out July 5...water temp right around 76?. Tried for smallies on the flats and came up empty-handed. Trolled cranks by the high bank and dam and picked up about 15 good size rainbows in an hour or two near dusk. Mid-divers in black or perch colors seemed to be the ticket trolled at about 6' over 20 FOW. Beautiful day on the lake, though most of the turtles were nowhere to be seen.

Spent Monday cruising around the lake for bass. We caught a lot of smallmouths in the 6-9 inch range. 3 smallies in the 16 inch range. Using drop shots on the weed edges. Lots of fish taking the plastic at the tail and missing the hook. Great aerobatics on a lot of the fish.

When I was out on the lake this summer the small mouth were all over the place. They were all probably only 6-10 inches but they were just thick. I'm looking forward to hooking in to some of them this summer. Anyone have any luck with the trout lately?

Thanks for cleaning up his mess, I fish the creek in the summer and there are a lot of fish still in there, Never have fished it in the winter but summertime is a blast out there, Thanks again for keeping the place clean
