First day out!

Off to NY for a few days to hunt with Dad....Back on Weds to hunt the farm again in Nebraska City....6 more strutters down their if anyone wants to go on Thursday..

NEK9 the weather looks very good for you, but my schedule didn't clear for me. I have to deliver a turf-renovator to Nebraska City and an auger to Plattsmouth in the morning and get a bid for the State prepared to be sent to Lincoln for an opening on Tuesday, I guess I'll have to wait till Saturday to chase thos Toms around again. I'll have to catch up to you another time.

Thats ok did not get in till later last night and got to do some paperwork and the yardwork and get stuff ready for mothers day...dont forger....I will be going out early tomorrow morn and sitting in the double bull in the middle of the field....Love to watch them pitch off the ridge and sail right down to the decoys....Room for one more so far....

yep will be out in the morning but looks like i have a full blind one of my fire dept friends from omaha is going.

I might have to head that way anyways Saturday am.  If I do could you email me a # to get a hold of you Nek?  I won't know til this afternoon.  If I don't have to go that way I need to get my food plots in here at home.  I've got a trailer I need to pickup in Missouri Valley, just not sure if I can get to it yet or not.

Gregg sorry I did not get back with you earlier...The gobblers are still henned up first thing in the morn.Yesterday he had nine hens with him and two sub dom toms that would not come in....I let them rest today and am going to take care of some stuff for the business.

No problem.  If I can work a day off I'll give you a call.   Might be tough with the wife having her school residency th-s.  My kids aren't quite old enough to be in the blind yet.

Sounds good just let me know.....Looks like I am going in the morn one of my buddies Jim that shot the double with his boy see pics on right.....Called and he has the itch again and took the next three days off to hit them before the weekend.....The bugs are getting so stinking bad now though it is not even funny though....Did not use the blind the other day and I got eat up for the two hours I spent out on mothers day....Had to get home early...

My wife and kids are heading up north and leaving me alone.  Too bad I don't have those days this week.  Guess I'll have to head up and do some fishing or finally meet up with Os to toss some flies. 

Got your pic of the bird Nek!  Congrats!  I'll get it posted here as soon as I get the chance.  Will be pretty busy here this weekend so might be monday.  Great bird!
