Feather Question

I ordered some feathers and a fletching tool to make up some projectiles for my recurve.  I got a right helical jig, and ordered right wing feathers.  They came, the feather box says right wing, but they curve to the left, and the jig curves to the right.  It seems wrong to me, like they mis-labeled the box, but since it is the first time using big feathers, I though maybe there is a reason for it.  They go into the jig no problem, but it seems odd to have to bend them into place.

Anyone want to comment?

I say to hell with that pot o' gold.

A feather off the right wing will have a natural left curve when viewed from back towards front as you describe.

Pretty sure the box is wrong.  Cabelas even said so.  And I 'm nearly positive these feathers do not come of a an actual bird.
