Shooting ruffed grouse while elk hunting is a good way to pass the time during the slow times of the day. Its fun to do but is hard on arrows with all the rocks.

A 9 year old Yukon girl killed this world class brown bear on the Alaskan Peninsula in October, 2006. Skull size 33 1/16", 11' 9" nose-to-tail, estimated weight of 1,800 Lbs.

Montana bow hunter Will Schott arrowed this beast after 18 days of hunting and passing on 28 other bulls. This bull has a gross green score 400" + as a non-typical. What a bull!

I found this 5 x 5 during a drizzling rain and 30 mph wind gusts. He was in some deep draws with another buck of similar size. The .300 Win Mag did the job.

Trevor's turn - First buck


On the first weekend of the youth deer season we saw only a hand full of bucks and couldn't get any shots. This was the third buck we saw this past Saturday and Trevor made a great 240 yard shot.
