Electric Underwear

I've got some battery powered long underwear that I use bowhunting during November or when it's really cold and the wind's a blowin. I'll have to say that they awesome! I can sit in my stand all day and just adjust the temp with a thermostat. The batteries are kind of bulky but when you get to your stand it's not bad. My dad just take a 12v car battery and puts at the bottom of his stand and runs a cord up to his suit that has a 12v cigarette lighter plug on the end.

These suits were made for motorcycle riders but I've started to use them bowhunting and it's the cats meow.

Does any of you guys use them?

Oh boy that would be a sight if they shorted while you are 20 feet in the air and things started smoking. How fast can you get down from a treestand and out of your shorts?

I use the electric socks and an electric jacket, and some monter sized chemical handwarmers for my hands.

The ones I bought were made by Kreamer Sports but they were bought out by Gerbings. I bet it would work ice fishing too. You'd be surprised how well they work.

I know a few hardcore bikers that use the vests and say it reall extends there riding season. One of them bowhunts and uses the vest with a mc battery like mentioned. Loves it. I will try a vest one of these days. Keep the core warm and you are good to go

A buddy who bowhunts late like to use the chemical heating patches for back pain. They're pretty large and I guess do a good job of keeping your core warm.

This moment is a paradox, it's the oldest you've ever been as well as the youngest you'll ever be.
